Our Story
I didn’t start a brand. I started over.
There was a version of me that had every reason to be consumed by hate. Parental alienation. Courts. Distance from my children. Watching the people who should have been allies become obstacles. No grandmother. No grandfather. No safety net. Just me, deciding every single day that I was going to be the support my kids never had from anyone else.
I left everything familiar and moved to New York with nothing but intention. I printed tees on Orchard Street. I built something from the ground up because I had no other choice and because my children deserved a father who didn’t quit.
The brand was called Zero Animosity then. Because that’s what I had to learn. Not as a concept. As a practice. As a daily decision to choose love over the bitterness that would have been so much easier to carry.
Then everything changed again.
I got married. And marriage taught me something that no amount of personal struggle had prepared me for. That love isn’t the easy moments. It’s not the laughter, the chemistry, the nights when everything feels right. It’s the question you have to answer when things are hard:
Can we hold space for each other when it’s almost impossible to do so?
My wife became my partner in every sense. And when she joined the brand, we didn’t just rebrand. We renamed what we had both been living.
Amour et Dualité. Love and duality. Two forces inside every human soul. Light and shadow. Strength and vulnerability. Chaos and grace. Not in conflict, in conversation.
This brand is not about clothing. It’s about what you carry and what you choose to build with it. It’s for the ones holding two contradictory things at once and refusing to let either one destroy them.
For the fathers fighting silent battles. The partners choosing love on the hardest days. The ones who left comfort for possibility. The ones who know that perfection was never the point.
This is for everyone who chose love when hate was easier.
Amour et Dualité. Born in New York. Built in the contradiction.
